Workers and concerned citizens can file complaints about workplace safety violations. The complaint filing process is confidential and can be done anonymously.
Hazards, lack of safety measures, dangerous equipment
Missing PPE, inadequate safety gear
Lack of safety training, inadequate procedures
Abuse, discrimination, harassment
All complaints are treated confidentially. Your identity will be protected unless required by law. False complaints may result in legal action.
The public can search for registered workplaces and check their compliance status using the Workplace Lookup feature.
Verify the authenticity of workplace safety certificates using the certificate number or QR code.
Certificate numbers follow the format: CERT-YYYY-XXXX (e.g., CERT-2024-0001). You can find this number at the top right corner of the certificate.
Registration typically takes 3-5 working days after all documents are submitted and verified.
Required documents include business registration certificate, premises lease/ownership documents, ID of authorized representative, and industry-specific licenses.
Safety certificates are typically valid for 1-2 years depending on the type. You will receive renewal reminders 30 days before expiration.
Yes, you can file complaints anonymously. However, providing contact information helps DFI follow up on your complaint if needed.
Use the certificate verification feature to check authenticity. If you suspect fraud, report it immediately to DFI with evidence.
